The recognition
Times 40 Under 40 recognises young achievers and game changers across Indian business. In March 2023, Vitra.ai co-founder and CEO Satvik Jagannath was felicitated at the event, one of several recognitions the company collected that year alongside the ET Achievers Awards and a place in YourStory's Tech30 list.
The context
The recognition came at the end of a year in which Vitra.ai had stopped being a single-product company. Founded in 2020 with one-click video translation, by early 2023 it had extended the same context-aware engine to images, websites, podcasts and text, and had moved from an edtech-led customer base into banking, insurance, e-commerce and media.
What the awards circuit was reacting to was less the model than the distribution: a translation product that a marketing team could run without involving engineering, and that produced output an enterprise legal team would accept. That combination is what turned into the Vitra.ai platform.
