Satvik Jagannath on India Game Changer: where new product ideas come from
India Game Changer
Vitra.ai co-founder and CEO Satvik Jagannath joins India Game Changer to talk about where product ideas come from, and the 2017 competition entry that became Vitra.ai.

The episode
India Game Changer's twenty-ninth episode featured Satvik Jagannath, co-founder and CEO of Vitra.ai, on where product ideas actually come from.
The through-line is that the useful ideas rarely arrive as technology insights. Vitra.ai began as an observation about access: that a student who wanted to learn about a technical subject had to read English to do it, and that this was a distribution problem dressed up as a language problem. The technology followed the observation rather than the other way round.
Listening notes
The conversation covers the 2017 Google News Innovation Challenge entry that first framed the idea, the decision to return to it in 2019, and the choice to bootstrap the early build before raising from 100X.VC. Anyone interested in the company's founding sequence will find the Outlook Business profile a useful companion.
