Marketing Automation: Localized Content at Scale
Head office designs once, every dealer gets their own version in their own language, sent on WhatsApp. How the Hyperlocal module assembles and delivers it.

Quick answer — One approved template plus a contact list produces a personalized creative per dealer — their name, their area, their logo, in the language their state speaks — then dispatches it over WhatsApp and Facebook and tracks what happened.
The Hyperlocal module in Vitra.ai Universe covers the whole chain.
The problem head office actually has
A national campaign has to arrive locally. The dealer in Coimbatore needs their own name on it, in Tamil, with their showroom address — and there are four hundred of them, and the campaign changes monthly.
The two usual answers both fail. Send the generic asset and dealers ignore it. Let dealers make their own and the brand disintegrates.
Four phases
| Phase | What happens |
|---|---|
| Create | Pick a template, a product and a contact segment |
| Generate | Render one creative per contact, then hold for review |
| Send | Dispatch over WhatsApp, Facebook and email, paced |
| Track | Delivery and engagement come back per message |
The review gate between generate and send is deliberate. Four hundred renders go out as one batch, so somebody looks before the batch becomes four hundred messages.
What varies per dealer
The obvious fields — name, firm, area, phone, logo — plus the one that matters most, which is language. A contact's state implies a language through a mapping you configure once, covering all 36 Indian states and union territories, so Maharashtra resolves to Marathi and Tamil Nadu to Tamil without anyone tagging records by hand.
Proper nouns transliterate into the target script while descriptions translate, which keeps the dealership's name recognisably theirs.
Video, with voice
The same template mechanism produces video, and this is where it gets interesting: the voice track is generated per variant too, so a dealer's video can name their showroom in the local language. Add lip sync and a presenter says it rather than a voiceover reading over footage.
That is genuinely one asset becoming four hundred, each one specific enough that the recipient cannot tell it was templated — video personalization does the rendering.
Delivery is the unglamorous half
WhatsApp is not a broadcast pipe. Templates are pre-approved, the creative becomes the header media, and sends are paced rather than fired at once. Media limits are real and enforced — video and image formats and sizes both have ceilings, and an asset that exceeds them fails at send rather than at render.
Facebook posting is terminal in the sense that there is no delivery webhook, so engagement is pulled rather than pushed.
Email is the third channel, and the one that behaves most predictably — no template pre-approval, no media ceiling, and the personalized creative rides as an inline asset rather than a header.
Where to start
One product, one state, one language, against a control group of dealers who get the generic asset. Compare response rate. The gap between a generic creative and one carrying the recipient's own name is usually larger than a campaign optimization would ever produce.
The free option and where it stops is covered in Google Translate for business websites.
FAQ
How does localized marketing automation work for dealers? Head office approves one template, and a creative renders per dealer carrying their name, area and logo in the language their state speaks. It then dispatches over WhatsApp, Facebook and email with delivery tracked per message.
How is the right language chosen for each contact? From the contact's state, through a mapping configured once that covers all 36 Indian states and union territories. Maharashtra resolves to Marathi and Tamil Nadu to Tamil without anyone tagging records.
Can personalized video include a personalized voice track? Yes. The voice is generated per variant, so a dealer's video names their showroom in the local language, and with lip sync a presenter delivers it rather than a voiceover playing over footage.
Which channels can localized campaigns be sent on? WhatsApp, Facebook and email. WhatsApp uses pre-approved templates with the creative as header media, Facebook engagement is pulled rather than pushed, and email carries the creative inline with no template approval.
