Sanjay Mehta’s 100X.VC Reveals Third Batch With 10 Early-Stage Startups Joining Portfolio

Serial investor Sanjay Mehta-led venture capital firm 100X.VC revealed the 10 seed-stage startups of its Class 03 portfolio at the VC Pitch Day held on Thursday (January 21). These 10 startups were shortlisted from 1,677 applications, of which 303 had passed the initial diligence process.
The batch
Inc42 reported 100X.VC's third batch of investments in January 2022, ten early-stage startups added to the portfolio of the fund founded by Sanjay Mehta. 100X.VC invests through India's iSAFE notes and has been one of the more active first-cheque writers in the Indian early-stage market.
Vitra.ai's place in it
100X.VC was Vitra.ai's first institutional backer, and the relationship predates the company's better-known rounds with Inflexor Ventures and, later, IIFL Fintech Fund. For a company whose product needed real compute to prove itself, getting a first cheque on the strength of a demo and a cost comparison was the step that made everything after it possible.
