## The story

YourStory's YS Learn series looked at how Vitra.ai raised its first money, which came from 100X.VC before the company had much of a track record to point at.

The useful part of the account for other founders is what the pitch rested on. In early 2021 Vitra.ai had launched only months earlier and had a customer count in the low dozens. What it had instead was an unusually crisp wedge: a specific, measurable cost and time delta against the manual localisation workflow, in a market where the incumbent process was well understood and universally disliked.

## What came after

100X.VC's cheque was followed within months by a round led by Inflexor Ventures, and later by IIFL Fintech Fund taking a 10% stake in 2024. The progression tracks the product's own: from a single video translation tool to a [platform](https://www.vitra.ai/platform) covering every content format an enterprise publishes.
