Forbes India's Daily Tech Conversation hosted Satvik Jagannath to talk through how one-click translation across 75 languages actually gets built, and what breaks when you try to do it on the fly.

The interesting engineering problem in this space is not translation quality in isolation. It is latency and cost at the point where a customer expects a finished video, not a job queued for tomorrow. Getting there means chaining transcription, translation, voice synthesis and subtitle rendering tightly enough that the whole pipeline finishes in minutes, then making that pipeline cheap enough to run at enterprise volume.

## Why the language count matters

Seventy-five languages is not a vanity metric for a company selling into India. The domestic market alone spans two dozen major languages, and the audiences with the fastest-growing spending power are the ones least well served by English-only content. Supporting the long tail is the product.
