## What happened

In April 2021, Inflexor Ventures led an investment round in Vitra.ai. The amount was not disclosed at the time. Inflexor is a deep-tech focused fund, and the round came only a few months after Vitra.ai's public launch in December 2020, when the company had roughly two dozen customers and a single product: one-click video translation.

The round put Vitra.ai alongside 100X.VC, which had backed the company earlier, in a cap table oriented toward technical rather than purely commercial bets. Several outlets covered the round as part of a wider week in Indian early-stage funding.

## What it funded

The money went into widening the surface area of the product. Vitra.ai had started as video translation, which is what the name encodes, but the same context-aware engine generalises to any content format carrying language.
