> **Quick answer —** Amazon A+ content carries most of its words inside images, so translating it is an image job rather than a text job. Modules do not travel between marketplaces automatically — each one needs its own submission and approval.[Vitra.ai Universe](https://www.vitra.ai/platform) generates, adapts and translates the whole set.

## Why this is harder than translating a listing

Title, bullets and description are fields. A+ content is modules, and the modules are mostly pictures with words baked into them. So the translated version is not an edit. It is a re-render of every comparison chart, feature banner and lifestyle image that had type on it.

That is the whole difficulty, and it is why A+ is usually the last thing to get localized and the first thing shoppers notice is missing.

## What travels and what does not

Element

Travels to another marketplace

Module layout and structure

Rebuild, but the design holds

Image assets with no text

Reusable as-is

Image assets with baked-in text

Re-render per language

Comparison chart values

Reusable; headers and units need work

Approval status

No — each marketplace approves separately

Each marketplace is its own submission with its own review. Budget for the review rather than assuming a European rollout is one upload.

## Do the comparison chart first

If only one module gets localized, make it that one.

Comparison charts are the module shoppers actually read, because they are deciding between your own variants at that moment. They are also the module most likely to carry units, sizes and certifications that are wrong in the destination market — centimetres against inches, a plug type, a certification that does not apply.

Translate the values, not just the labels.

## Making the re-render cheap

The cost sits in whether the source is layered. A flattened JPEG of a feature banner has to be rebuilt by a designer; a layered file can be re-rendered by [image translation](https://www.vitra.ai/features/image-translation) with the type reflowed for the new language. German runs long. A banner laid out tightly around English will overflow, and the fix is a layout with room in it rather than a smaller font at the end.

Keep the approved terminology in one place too. Product names, feature names and spec vocabulary appear across every module, and a [translation memory](https://www.vitra.ai/features/translation-memory) is what stops the same feature having two names in two modules of the same page.

Store the whole set in an [asset manager](https://www.vitra.ai/features/asset-manager) so the next marketplace starts from the layered originals rather than from whatever someone can find.

The same pixel problem shows up outside A+ modules, in ordinary listing images — see [product image translation](https://www.vitra.ai/e-commerce/product-image-translation). Device listings carry a specification layer as well — [electronics product page localization](https://www.vitra.ai/consumer-electronics/electronics-product-page-localization).

## FAQ

**Does Amazon A+ content transfer between marketplaces?** No. Each marketplace needs its own submission and its own approval, even when the design is identical. Plan a European rollout as several reviews rather than one upload.

**Why is A+ content harder to translate than a product listing?** Because most of its words are inside images rather than in fields. Translating it means re-rendering comparison charts and feature banners, which is a design task unless the source files are still layered.

**Which A+ module should be localized first?** The comparison chart. Shoppers read it while choosing between your variants, and it usually carries units, sizes or certifications that are simply wrong in the destination market.

**What makes A+ localization expensive?** Flattened source files. A layered banner can be re-rendered with the type reflowed; a flattened export has to be rebuilt by a designer for every language, which is where the budget goes.
